Position: Speech-Language Pathologist (Independent Contractor)
Location: Hybrid – Home Health & In-Office
Schedule: Minimum 2–4 days/week, must be available after school hours
Compensation: $66–$80/hour (based on payor source)

About the Role

As an independent contractor, you’ll provide high-quality speech and language therapy services to clients in both home and office settings. The ideal candidate is passionate about helping children and families improve communication skills, thrives in a flexible work environment, and is available for after-school appointments.

Responsibilities

Evaluate, diagnose, and treat speech, language, and/or swallowing disorders.

Develop and implement individualized treatment plans.

Provide therapy in both home and clinic settings.

Collaborate with families, caregivers, and other professionals.

Maintain accurate, timely documentation.

Requirements

Master’s degree in Speech-Language Pathology.

Active Kentucky SLP license.

ASHA CCC-SLP certification (required).

Pediatric and/or home health experience (preferred).

Strong communication and organizational skills.

Ability to work independently and manage a flexible schedule.

About the Role: We are seeking a skilled and dedicated Certified Occupational Therapy Assistant (COTA) to join our team as an independent contractor. This role involves providing home health and in-office therapy services to pediatric clients.

Key Responsibilities:

Provide high-quality occupational therapy treatments under the supervision of an Occupational Therapist.

5 YEARS
August 1 was our 5 year service anniversary, Alisha, Cathy and Tonya would like to express our appreciation and gratitude for everyone that has made this anniversary possible, especially all of the wonderful families that have trusted us with their children. Looking for feeding therapy or orofacial myofunctional therapy??

Building Blocks is so very excited to announce not only a new SLP to our staff, but we are also announcing a new service to our office. The lovely Sarah Ray has recently graduated from Brescia University with her Master's Degree and will be joining us this summer.
Sarah will be offering the following services: Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy as well as Feeding Therapy. Please call the office (270-240-5051) and talk with Cathy Bland if you are interested in either of these services for your kiddo.
**Orofacial Myofunctional Therapy and Feeding Therapy will be offered with a cash payment only basis at this time - we are unable to bill insurance for this service at this time. This is subject to change when Sarah is approved to bill insurance as an in-network provider with our office.**
