Peripheral vascular disease (PVD), or peripheral arterial disease (PAD), is a progressive disorder that causes narrowing or blocking of the blood vessels. Organs and limbs that rely on these vessels, such as the brain, heart, and legs, may not receive enough blood flow. PVD most commonly affects the legs and feet.
If you are experiencing symptoms such as leg pain, cramps, feeling of heaviness in the legs, wounds on the feet that are slow to heal, please seek immediate medical attention from a Vascular expert like Dr. Vora.
