As if avoiding shingles was not a good enough reason to get this vaccine, "Older adults ...were less likely to develop dementia if they received the recombinant subunit zoster (shingles) vaccine (Shingrix)"
Unfortunately, the CDC suppressed studies like this, which showed the shingles vaccine to be both safe & effective.

This report showed that the vaccine reduced emergency department visits and hospitalizations among healthy adults by about half this past winter. But the CDC has refused to publish it. It already cleared the agency’s scientific-review process, which includes dozens of scientists. But apparently science is not as important as politics.

The report, which had cleared the agency’s scientific-review process, had been delayed. It now won’t be published at all, people familiar with the decision told The Post.

The Hepatitis B vaccine is usually given at birth, age 1 month, and age 6 months. Safe AND effective!

This , the AAP is highlighting the importance of the hepatitis B vaccine at birth. Hepatitis B is a serious liver infection that can be passed from mother to baby at birth. But because of the vaccine, it’s preventable.

The first dose of the hepatitis B vaccine is recommended within 24 hours of birth, giving infants a strong start toward lifelong protection. Pediatricians can answer questions parents have about the hepatitis B vaccine series.
