Why Are All of my Ex's ?

We’ve turned narcissist into a catch-all word for ‘someone who didn’t love me the way I needed.’

Selfish? Narcissist.

Didn’t text back? Also a narcissist.

Narcissism isn’t just being toxic, arrogant, or annoying.

It’s a pattern— , lack of empathy, , —across contexts and time.

Not one bad relationship.
Not one argument.
Not one season of immaturity.

Some people just weren’t good partners for you but that doesn't make them a narcissist.

When we label everyone who hurt you as a narcissist, everyone in your life is a narcissist.

If you are in an relationship with someone, they are going to hurt you. That is the nature of relationships.
