Our Story

The Taylor Listening Center was founded in 2013 by Dr. Emily J. Taylor, a native to the Baltimore area. Her dream of opening a practice came about 10 years ago when she was studying at the University of Maryland. Dr. Taylor’s vision was to create a listening center that was 100% focused on patient care and less on the profit. Some might say this makes her a bad business woman but this philosophy is what makes Taylor Listening Center so unique compared to other practices in the area. Patients enjoy the professional and welcoming atmosphere and quickly feel like part of the TLC family after just one visit. TLC is dedicated to giving back to the community by selecting a different foundation/charity each month to donate proceeds of hearing testing to. We have also set up a hearing aid donation program so that we can fit refurbished donated hearing aids to those who cannot afford amplification. Dr. Taylor and staff look forward to showing you why TLC is a special type of practice unlike any other.
