Do you know the difference between whole purple rice grain and Kare’s Micronized Purple Rice powder? They are very different!
Whole purple rice is available in health food stores for about $4 or $5 a bag. It’s good for you, but make sure it’s not from China because of concerns over arsenic.
My Micronized Purple Rice powder, however, is very different from whole purple rice grain. First, it comes from a special heirloom strain of purple rice from a pristine valley in northern Thailand, a country that doesn’t allow GMOs. It is all hand picked, and then hand-carried out of the fields because no trucks are allowed due to pollution.
MPR powder comes from only the *heart* of this grain, and to make it, we extract the nutrients needed to regenerate cells. These nutrients include polysaccharides which your cells need for energy, polypeptides (every amino acid!) which your cells need to create healthier new cells, and lots of anthocyanin antioxidants which repair damage. It actually takes 60 to 100 pounds of purple rice to get 1 pound of these nutrients! The starch is removed, so only the precious nutrients go into this product.
Then, and this is really the big secret to why it works so well - it is milled down to the size of a micron using special milling equipment. And as new cells are generated, they are healthier, which helps our bodies to become healthier and improves many health conditions.
My friendly, helpful health coaches and I take calls from 8 a.m. to 11 p.m. EST every day at 727-798-8764. We look forward to helping you on the path to better health!
