“Sock It to Addiction” – One Step at a Time
We were incredibly honored to have Nevaeh Cox, an 18-year-old with a passion for people, organize “Sock It to Addiction.”
Nevaeh felt it on her heart to collect socks to bless the men at Juniper Tree Recovery. When asked what inspired her to do this, her response was simple but powerful:
“I just want to help people.”
Nevaeh personally came and handed the socks out to the men, and you could clearly see the kindness and compassion in her heart as she served them.
Her message was clear and encouraging:
You Matter.
Your Are Worth it.
Stay Strong.
And the reminder written on the flyer speaks to every person walking the road of recovery:
“You are stronger than the storm you are facing. Keep moving forward. Your breakthrough is closer than you think.” 🙏
Nevaeh, thank you for your heart, your compassion, and for choosing to make a difference in the lives of others. Your kindness is a beautiful example of what loving our neighbor truly looks like.
