Owosso MI Family History Center Owosso MI FHC has become a local FREE nonprofit institution within the Mid-Michigan genealogical community. Wednesday July 28 we will open from 2pm to 8pm.

This page is a great opportunity to learn and to share FHC news. The Family History Center has been approved to be reopened. Delores Hall-Blackmer has been called to be the Director. The hours the Center will be open is being planned out with new staff. Please be patient as we ramp up the use of the center again. Thank you! Closed week of major holidays

Many of the English settlers of New England wanted to stay loyal to the crown after the American Revolution. These families packed up and moved to what became Canada. Family History Centers are branches of the Family History Library in Salt Lake City Utah operated by The Church of Jesus Christ of Latter-day Saints (LDS Church). The centers supply resources for research and study of genealogy and family history. As of 2018, there are more than 5,100 FHCs in 140 countries. Owosso MI Family History Center is one of those official branches. Family History Centers are 100 percent volunteer run under the direction of the Center’s director and consultants.
