La Leche League of Central MA, based in Worcester, is a community of families who encourage, support and protect the woman’s and baby’s right to breastfeed. We are dedicated to supporting each woman’s experience, to celebrate the beauty and the bond that is motherhood, and committed to strengthening the community around us. We support th
e following Central MA towns: Oxford, Webster, Dudley, Douglas, Uxbridge, Northbridge, Sutton, Millbury, Auburn, Worcester, Shrewsbury, Leicester, Spencer, Charlton, Sturbridge, and Southbridge. Meetings:
LLL of Central MA meets at First Unitarian Church Worcester the fourth Thursday of every month from 11:00am to 12:30pm in the basement nursery room. Worcester MOMS social group meets upstairs at the same location if interested from 9:00am to 12:00pm Any changes to meeting times will be posted on the page. Feel free to text, call, or email with any questions and you can always bring your own particular questions to any meeting. Siblings are welcome but you may want to bring favorite toys or activities for them. Each breastfeeding parent is encouraged to take from La Leche League philosophy what seems sensible and helpful to them. No RSVP is necessary and there is no charge to attend.
