🍰Craving sugar all the time is very common—especially for active women and women over 50—and it’s usually your body asking for something specific, not a lack of willpower 💛
Here are the main reasons it happens and what to do about each:

1️⃣ Blood Sugar Spikes & Crashes (the BIG one)

When meals are low in protein or high in refined carbs, blood sugar rises fast… then drops fast.
That drop triggers urgent sugar cravings.

Signs:
• Afternoon crashes
• “I need something sweet NOW”

Fix:
✔ Eat protein every 3–4 hours (20–30g per meal)
✔ Pair carbs with protein + healthy fat
✔ Don’t skip meals

2️⃣ Not Eating Enough Protein (very common)

Protein stabilizes blood sugar and turns off cravings.

Fix:
✔ Start the day with 30g protein
✔ Add protein to snacks (shake, yogurt, eggs, cottage cheese)

👉 This is why protein shakes work so well for cravings.

3️⃣ Hormones (especially peri-/post-menopause)
