Who thinks restoration yoga is a waste of time? That was me and boy, was I wrong!
Legs up the wall, Viparita Karani, is a simple inversion yoga and restorative pose.
The health benefits include:
π lowering stress, anxiety and insomnia
π helps with lymphatic drainage
π soothes swollen or cramping legs and feet
π relieves lower back pain
π gives blood a boost toward the upper body and head
If you have trouble sleeping this is a pose you may want to practice at least 5 - 15 minutes everyday because it can reset the parasympathetic nervous system and set you up for a great night of rest.
