This weekend, Steven and I are racing with the family at ( representing team 🙌🏼), and we’re making sure we’re fueled, hydrated, and ready to crush those climbs.

This is what community looks like.

For the past 10 weeks, I’ve been cooking every Wednesday for our neighboring businesses (and ours!) squeezing it in between school pickups and sports, just trying to make sure our families were eating real, nourishing food. 🥕🍲

Wednesdays also happen to be CSA day, when our favorite local farmer Les drops off fresh, seasonal shares. Anytime there were leftovers, I’d send him home with a warm dinner as a small thank-you for everything he does to keep our community fed. 🌿

Today, he surprised us with the sweetest gesture, a big pot of homemade butternut squash soup made with butternut, onion, and red bell pepper from our CSA farm, organic coconut milk, and chicken stock from his own chickens. 💛
This is what it’s all about, small business owners supporting small business owners, farmers feeding makers, neighbors feeding neighbors. When we pour into each other, everybody thrives.

We had so much fun hosting for Victoria's event last night. Loved seeing all of our downtown boutiques and businesses work together for this event. I know im biased but I think we had some pretty cute models advertising some holiday wear too! 😉
