👁️✨ Exciting News from Rayner Eye Clinic! ✨👁️

We are delighted to welcome Dr. Amanda Howell, Optometrist, to the Rayner Eye Clinic family!

Dr. Howell brings both expertise and heart to our team. She earned her Bachelor of Science in Zoology from the University of Wisconsin–Madison in 2020 and went on to graduate Magna Cum Laude from the Southern College of Optometry in 2024.

When she’s not caring for patients, Dr. Howell loves spending time with her husband, Grant, they were just married in June 2024 and their lovable beagle rescue, Buck.

Her favorite part of the job? Building meaningful relationships with her patients and helping provide answers and solutions to whatever eye care concerns they may have. Dr. Howell is passionate about making every patient feel seen, heard, and cared for.

She’s looking forward to getting to know all of you and will be seeing patients Mondays through Thursdays at our Oxford location.

Since joining Rayner Eye Clinic full-time in June 2024, Caitlin has been a valued member of our team—demonstrating exceptional compassion, dedication, and teamwork every step of the way. Her strong work ethic and genuine care for our patients have made a lasting impact, and while we’ll miss her greatly, we’re excited to see all she will accomplish in this next chapter.

Caitlin plans to pursue a specialty in Ophthalmology and will carry the knowledge and experience she’s gained at Rayner with her on this exciting path.

A Fond Farewell to Dr. Guyton

We would like to share that Dr. Guyton’s last day with Rayner Eye Clinic will be Friday, June 6. He and his wife are moving to Chicago to be closer to family as they prepare to welcome their first child — a baby girl — very soon!

Dr. Guyton has been an incredible part of our team. His dedication to patient care, positive energy, and sense of humor have made a lasting impact on all of us. He kept us smiling every day — so of course, we had to send him off with a sarcastic, funny cookie cake that matched his personality perfectly. 🍪😄

While we will truly miss him, we’re so excited for this next chapter of his life.

👉 If you are a patient of Dr. Guyton’s, please rest assured that one of our other fabulous physicians will be taking over your care. If you have any questions or concerns, don’t hesitate to reach out — we’re here and happy to help.
