When the Oxford High School shooting took place in Nov. 2021, Rachel Klamo, DO, FAAFP - our June Member of the Month - was practicing in an adjacent clinic. In the moments, days, weeks, and months that followed, she learned how to balance patients’ and one's own mental and physical well-being through such an unimaginable crisis. Today she shares her experience and lessons learned to help colleagues prepare for navigating and thriving during unexpected tragedy.
