Baptist Memorial Hospital–North Mississippi has been recognized by Becker’s Hospital Review as one of the most recommended hospitals in Mississippi, based on patient satisfaction data from the Centers for Medicare & Medicaid Services (CMS).

Becker’s Hospital Review compiled the list using results from the Hospital Consumer Assessment of Healthcare Providers and Systems (HCAHPS) survey, which captures patients’ perspectives on their hospital experience. The “recommended hospital” star rating is based on patient responses to the question, “Would you recommend this hospital to your friends and family?”

Baptist Memorial Hospital-North Mississippi welcomed the first baby born at the hospital on January 1, 2026, at 1:25 a.m.

Harrison and Catherine Bryant were ecstatic to welcome their new baby boy, Henry Bryant, who weighed in at 7pounds, 11.6 ounces, and is welcomed by three siblings: Adare, Caroline, and John Fulcher.

“It is always a blessing to welcome the first baby of the year at Baptist North Mississippi,” said Brian Welton, CEO/administrator. “It fills us with hope and excitement for the year ahead. Congratulations to the family!”

The hospital presented the family with a sweet assortment of baby essentials paired with comforting items for mom, offering a little bit of practicality, a little bit of pampering, and a whole lot of love for this new chapter.

Earlier this week, Baptist North Mississippi department directors and managers attended a retreat focused on setting goals and gearing up for a successful 2026!

It was a great time of collaboration, connection, and enjoying time together outside of the workplace. The fun didn’t stop there—everyone was surprised with a special visit from Buddy the Elf and Santa Claus, spreading plenty of holiday cheer! 🎄🎅

We also held an Ugly Christmas Sweater Contest among our directors and managers. Congratulations to ED Manager LB Wiggins for taking 1st place, and Stephanie Bramlitt, Director of ODC, for earning 2nd place! 🏆🧣

Overview and Responsibilities:
Patrols and protects the entire campus, inside and outside; responds to all incidents or calls relating to the safety and security of all persons and property on the campus. Officers are expected to demonstrate exemplary customer service skills and maintain a professional appearance while serving as ambassadors of the organization. Performs other duties as assigned.

Qualifications:
Knowledge, skills, and mental development equivalent to completion of 4 years of high school, or an acceptable equivalent combination of education and experience.
