Jill Mock, CPNP, has more than 35 years of nursing service in the Oxford community. Mock first served as an obstetrical nurse at McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital and then joined Oxford Pediatrics as a pediatric nurse practitioner in 1990. Jill and Ray Mock established an endowment with the McCullough-Hyde Foundation to support this program and award with the goal to recognize and celebrate those who demonstrate compassionate care and outstanding nursing.

Welcoming sweet baby Kiaan into the world was such an honor for our OB team! 🩵

His amazing parents, Isha and KB, came to us late at night feeling nervous about what was ahead — and left with full hearts and a beautiful baby boy in their arms.

Here’s what they shared with us:

“We walked in the hospital late night and were worried about what’s coming. However, the nurses, techs, staff of maternity ward took really good care of us. Baby healthy, mum healing and family happy. Thank you for bringing this “happiness” to us.”

We are so grateful for families like theirs who trust us during such an important moment in their lives. Hearing that baby is healthy, mom is healing, and their family is happy is exactly why we do what we do every single day. 🥹

Congenital Heart Disease (CHD) is the most common birth defect, and early detection is so important.

That’s why every newborn at our hospital receives a CHD screening around 24 hours of age — a quick, painless check that can help catch heart concerns early.
