After 14 incredible years, we are saying goodbye (for now) to one of our own, Maggie. She has poured her heart into this unit, caring for countless moms and babies and leaving a lasting impact on all of us lucky enough to work beside her.

In the most full-circle moment, one of her final deliveries was extra special—helping care for her own sister-in-law as she welcomed her new nephew into the world. 🤍

While we are so sad to see her go, we couldn’t be more proud of her for choosing what matters most—being home more with her babies and embracing this next chapter of motherhood.

Maggie, you will always be part of our family. Thank you for everything you’ve given to this unit. You will be so missed, but so loved.

Learning looks a little different on the OB floor! 🩺❤️ Our Miami University junior nursing students recently had the opportunity to observe one of the most amazing parts of birth—exploring a placenta after delivery (with patient permission, of course!). Experiences like these help bring classroom learning to life, and we love being part of their journey into nursing.
