✨ Holiday cheer was in full swing at the GHS Christmas Party! ✨🎄

Today, our team came together to enjoy a meal, share some smiles, and pick up holiday gifts from GHS Administration as a small token of appreciation for all they do throughout the year.

Chippy made a special appearance alongside a few other festive friends — including another elf, a Santa, and even a Christmas tree — helping spread extra cheer as staff stopped by to celebrate. The room was filled with the kind of joy that comes from celebrating an incredible team.

Thank you to our amazing GHS team for everything you do for our patients, our community, and each other. Wishing you all a joyful holiday season filled with warmth, rest, and well-deserved celebration. ❤️🎁🎅

🎄✨ Chippy’s Weekend Adventure: Parade Edition! ✨🎄

This weekend, Chippy traded hospital hallways for downtown Oxford as he rode along on the Granville Health System float in the Oxford Christmas Parade — waving, cheering, and soaking up all the holiday spirit our community had to offer. 🎅🎶

At GHS, being part of the community means more than providing care within our walls. It means showing up, celebrating together, and staying connected with the people we’re proud to serve every day. From parades and festivals to local events and partnerships, you’ll always find GHS out and about — building relationships and sharing a little joy along the way. 💙

Chippy had a front-row seat to the smiles, laughter, and holiday magic that make Granville County so special, and he loved being part of the fun alongside our GHS team.

Thank you, Oxford, for such a warm welcome and a wonderful parade — we’re honored to be your community health system, during the holidays and all year long. 🎄✨

🎄✨ Holiday Spirit Week at GHS came to a close, but our GHS team sure brought the holiday spirit all week long — and they didn’t miss a beat caring for our community. 🎄✨

Whether rocking cheerful sweaters, festive tees, cozy scarves, holiday headbands, or fun socks, our staff showed that even during a busy season, compassion, teamwork, and joy are always part of the uniform.

Today, Chippy spent time at Brantwood Nursing & Rehab Center — and it was one of the most meaningful stops yet. 🎄💙

Today was Angel Tree gift delivery day, and Chippy happily stood watch over the presents as holiday wishes became reality for Brantwood residents. With help from our GHS Administrative team, the donated gifts were delivered alongside the Brantwood staff — sharing smiles, gratitude, and plenty of Christmas cheer along the way.

After the presents were delivered, Chippy soaked up the spirit of the season around Brantwood — admiring the festive decorations, stopping by the nurses station, and even catching a little fresh air by the front entrance.

Moments like these remind us that health care is about more than services — it’s about compassion, connection, and showing up for our community in meaningful ways. And today, Brantwood was full of all three. ❤️🎁✨

Midweek brought Christmas Cheer Hat Day and Sparkle & Shine Day, and our team delivered both festive flair and the same compassionate care our community depends on every day.

Festive fun, meaningful work, and a team that truly shines. ✨

Today’s adventure had Chippy stretching, balancing, and breaking a (tiny) sweat with our Rehab team 💪🎄

He couldn’t resist trying out all the equipment — from bikes and balance tools to resistance bands and weights (with the help of some very innovative tissue box spotters) 🏋️‍♂️📦 — learning firsthand how each piece plays a role in helping patients rebuild strength, improve mobility, and regain confidence.

Our Rehabilitation team works closely with patients at every stage of recovery, creating personalized plans that support healing, restore independence, and help people get back to doing what they love. Chippy left impressed — and maybe a little sore — with a big appreciation for the expert care happening here every day ❤️

✨ Chippy had a BIG day at Granville Health System! ✨
He started in the ICU, where he met the ICU elf, Gingersnap! After spending a little break tree-climbing, they got to work – Gingersnap showed him some of the life-saving skills and advanced equipment used to manage some of the most critical moments in patient care. Chippy even got a hands-on lesson from the Respiratory Therapy team complete with a closer look at the ventilator controls.

With his ICU introduction complete, Chippy made his way over to our Medical-Surgical Unit for more learning. He got a quick lesson in glucose monitoring and spent some time at the nurses’ station soaking in what compassionate, round-the-clock care looks like.

From critical care to everyday inpatient support, Chippy got a true glimpse of how our clinical teams work together to care for our community with skill, dedication, and heart. 💙

Another day, another adventure for our Granville elf. 🎄✨

🎄 Holiday Spirit Week at GHS is off to a festive start!

We kicked off our Holiday Spirit week with Merry & Bright Monday, filling our halls with bold festive colors and plenty of holiday cheer. ❤️💚

Then on Cozy Winter Warm-Up Tuesday, our leaned into cozy comfort, showing off socks, scarves, and winter vibes while keeping our community care front and center. 🧣🧦

From bright colors to cozy layers, our GHS team continues to show up with heart, spirit, and dedication every day!

✨ After visiting with the surgeons at Granville Surgical Associates, Chippy was ready for his next stop. Before anyone knew it, he’d made his way through Surgical Services—one tiny step at a time.

He peeked into pre-op, got cozy under a surgical gown, and even tried on a bouffant cap to “blend in.” From there, he wandered into the OR, taking in the glow of the surgical lights and getting a behind-the-scenes look at the equipment, the setup, and everything our team does to make procedures safe and seamless.

Whether you’re here for a same-day procedure or something more specialized, our Surgical Services team brings skill, compassion, and top-notch care to every patient, every day—and we’re grateful for the work they do for our community. 💙

✨ Chippy’s all checked out and on to his next stop… keep an eye out to see where he turns up tomorrow!
