Our Villagers celebrated National Sign Language Day today! Our special guest, Rhonda, who is one of the Villages' Resident Assistants, shared her life story of learning sign, at the early age of 3 years old. She was sent to the Mississippi School of Deaf in Jackson, MS, due to both parents being deaf! Our Villagers thoroughly enjoyed her life story and skills of signing!

Our Villagers took advantage of this timeline, and started early with Apple Cider, Cinnamon Streusel, and Banana Nut Bread at 2:00pm, to kickoff our Fall season!

Our Villagers, a/k/a our "Lunch Bunch" had a wonderful day, as we adventured to our local restaurant, El Agave! El Agave is well-known as the "Best Mexican" Restaurant in Oxford. Their motto is, "Come hungry, leave smiling!" (And our Villagers, did just that!) We thanked them for a wonderful meal & top-notched service!
