On January 23rd Ice Storm Fern came through with a vengeance on the city of Oxford.

The iced over streets were filled with broken trees & broken power lines, as well as other obstacles that kept our employees from being able to get to & from work at The Magnolia on their own.

The Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department stepped in to help us with employee rides & employee wellness checks on top of everything else they were handling all around! By doing this, it allowed The Magnolia community to feel as if nothing was happening in the city outside the building they stayed so comfortable in.

We took a drive over to thank them today for all of their help. We dropped off a happy of Nothing Bundt Cakes & gave a lot of thankful hugs!

Thank you so much Lafayette County Sheriff’s Department. We are forever grateful!
