John T. Harlan, M.D.

The doctors at Oxford Obstetrics & Gynecology work together as a team to provide quality care in a supportive, nurturing environment. Highly educated, all of our doctors attended the best universities across the nation to obtain their medical degrees and gain extensive training in the care and treatement of female patients. They complete numerous hours of continuing education courses each year and also hold memberships in many professional organizations to stay up-to-date with the latest advancements in the medical field. Dr. Harlan finished his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1991. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow Of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a Member of the Butler County Medical Society, and the Ohio State Medical Association. He is on the staff of McCullough-Hyde Memorial Hospital in Oxford, Ohio. Dr. Harlan is married and has three children. Current hospital positions: Board of Trustees and Board of Directors member, Co-Chair of Obstetrics/Pediatrics Committee. Daniel J. Stein, M.D. Dr. Stein is a graduate of Miami University. He received his medical degree from the University of Cincinnati in 1984. He finished his residency training in Obstetrics and Gynecology in 1988. He is Board Certified by the American Board of Obstetrics and Gynecology and a Fellow of the American College of Obstetrics and Gynecology, a Member of the Butler County Medical Society, and the Ohio State Medical Association. Dr. Stein is married and has three children. Current hospital positions: Chief of Medical Staff, Medical Staff Liason to hospital Board of Directors, Member Quality and Peer Review Committee, Member Infection Control Committee, Member OB/Pediatric Committee.

We would like to welcome Dr. Pantel to McCullough Hyde Hospital. She will be providing high quality obstetric care and helping families from Oxford to Indiana welcome new additions to their family!

Dr. Pantel has over 11 years of experience delivering babies. She primarily works at Bethesda North, one of our sister campuses in the TriHealth system, where she’s worked for many years. We are so excited to have her provide services as an extension to our team and can't wait for you to meet her!
