Today is my 39th birthday. This second photo is all I ever wanna be known for in this life. I refuse to shake hands with the pseudo gospels of anything else - the endless pursuit of health and wellness, intuitive eating, fad dieting, clean eating, healthism, veganism, life hacking, toxic ingredients, processed foods, homesteading, fat-positive, obesity treatment, holistic, allopathic, natural, fit, disciplined, anti-aging, youthfulness, essential oils, Botox …literally nothing else on the spectrum of things we obsess over in this world and specifically in these squares. I don’t want my opinions or decisions about any of those things to ever cloud the one Truth in this world that we can cling to and that is that Jesus Christ loved you enough to come and live and die to save you right where you are so that you can live in Freedom and Hope with Him forever and ever. There is no greater message. Praise be to God. Thank you Lord for this blessed assurance that Jesus is mine. Thank you Lord for this gift of life and my family. May the legacy of my life be “Jesus, only Jesus.”
