Have you ever felt torn between what your emotions scream and what logic says? That tug-of-war can be exhausting. In DBT, you learn skills to find the Wise Mind — the calm inner knowing that blends reason and emotion.
✨ Emotion Mind: driven by feelings, urges, and impulsivity.
🧊 Reasonable Mind: facts, logic, and problem-solving.
🌿 Wise Mind: the middle path — where intuition, values, and balance live.

To access your Wise Mind:
🧘‍♀️ Pause. Breathe deeply.
📝 Ask: “What do I know to be true? What matters most right now?”
💬 Listen inward — it’s usually a quiet voice, not a loud one.

Today, practice checking in with your Wise Mind before making a decision or reacting. It’s already within you. You just have to listen. 💙

Name it to Tame it.
Big emotions feel overwhelming—but they lose power when we identify them.
🧭 Step back and ask:
🔹 What exactly am I feeling?
🔹 What triggered this?
🔹 What thoughts are fueling it?
🎯 When you label the emotion (e.g., “I’m feeling shame, not anger”), your brain shifts from reacting to regulating.
✨ You can’t calm what you can’t name.
