While out seeing Bluebird Hospice patients today, I got to meet some sweet green, yellow and orange birds. A friendly neighbor welcomed us with our new feathered friends. 🐦💙💛💚

Meet the Bluebird Hospice Team. Our Medical Director is Jennie Rose MD. She has been a Physician for 23 years. She chose this profession because she wanted to help people and loved science and the human body. She wasn't initially planning on becoming a doctor, but she enjoyed the classes and clinical work she was doing that continued to pushed her in the direction of medicine. When the opportunity arose to become part of the Bluebird Hospice Team - caring for hospice patients, she felt this was the next step to getting back to caring for patients directly. Dr. Rose experienced hospice care at the end of her father's life and she looks forward to offering this wonderful service and support to more people. She looks forward to helping not only the patient, but their loved ones through this challenging time in their lives. When not working, Dr. Rose enjoys spending time with her 4 children and boyfriend Dave, road and mountain biking, yoga and travel. We are blessed to have Dr. Rose on our team. 💙🐦

Meet our Bluebird Hospice Team. RN Gena Griffin has been a nurse for 38 years with 24 of those in hospice care. Gena chose nursing as a profession because of the variety of ways that nurses can help people - from hands on care to education and supporting people as they learn to care for and advocate for themselves. Gena's favorite part of working with hospice patients is how honored she feels that the patient and family allow her to be an intimate part of their life, and walk along them in their journey. ❤️ When Gena is not at work, she enjoys spending time with family and friends. 💙🐦
