More to Say, LLC is a pediatric development and therapy center offering speech + language, feeding, and occupational therapy services as well as holistic enrichment programs and homeschooling classes. Our mission is to offer families a warm and supportive environment where they can learn about their child’s developmental needs and how to nurture their child’s capacity to succeed. Our team consists of clinicians dedicated to working with children and providing the highest quality services. We utilize a collaborative approach to focus on the whole child and take pride in the synergistic nature of our team. The Moro Reflex is a newborn startle reflex that helps babies feel safe and develop early movement patterns. It should typically integrate by 4-6 months.

Some signs that your child’s Moro Reflex did NOT integrate are:
✨Oversensitivity to sounds or movement
✨Poor balance or coordination
✨Anxiety of constant “on edge” feeling
✨Trouble with handwriting or sitting still
✨Exaggerated startle response

An OT can use sensory-motor activities and exercises to calm your child’s nervous system, retrain postural control, and help the reflex finally integrate. This builds better focus, confidence, and regulation.

Lisa received her Bachelor's Degree in Accounting and Master's Degree in Elementary Education. She has held a variety of positions in the accounting and legal departments for the largest law firm on Long Island before transitioning to the classroom to teach at the elementary level.
