More to Say, LLC is a pediatric development and therapy center offering speech + language, feeding, and occupational therapy services as well as holistic enrichment programs and homeschooling classes. Our mission is to offer families a warm and supportive environment where they can learn about their child’s developmental needs and how to nurture their child’s capacity to succeed. Our team consists of clinicians dedicated to working with children and providing the highest quality services. We utilize a collaborative approach to focus on the whole child and take pride in the synergistic nature of our team. At More to Say, every child we work with is like family and we look forward to getting to know you!

Are you trying to teach your child how to ride a bike? Check out these OT tips & tricks to make bike riding a breeze ✨

🚲 Start with a tricycle or balance bike! This will help your child get comfortable balancing and coordinating the movements required for bike riding.
🚲 Break down the task of bike riding into smaller, more manageable steps! For example, first start with the child sitting on the bike & balancing when stationary.
🚲 Be sure to address pre-bike riding skills, such as bilateral coordination, motor planning, core strength, etc.
🚲 Build your child's confidence! Learning a new skill can be tricky and requires patience. Model positive affirmations, such as, "you are so brave!" or "you can do it!"
