Welcome to The Yoga Channel, a quaint little yoga studio, at beautiful Silver Strand Beach in Oxnard, California! From 2017 to 2021 it was lovingly Stewarded and cared for greatly by Aurora Hienemann, who miraculously kept it going through the multiple disasters, including the Thomas Fire and th Covid-19 Pandemic. Currently, the studio is Directed and Owned by Nathan Holden and Amber Brandstrom. M

aribeth, Auora, Nathan and Amber are passionate about creating space for the local yogi community or further! Both Maribeth and Aurora offer guidance and wisdom continually as Nathan and Amber begin stewardship of the wonderful studio by the sea. Our mission at The Yoga Channel, is to lead you to quality yoga instruction, in the Oxnard, Port Hueneme and Ventura area. We are a humble and cozy little yoga studio, at Silver Strand Beach, and like to think of ourselves, as your home away from home. The energy is pure and light, the perfect space for your yoga practice, meditation practice and spiritual practice. The perfect place to heal. Don't be afraid if you are new to yoga! Social media can make yoga look so unattainable. We are a very unassuming and welcoming community of yogis. We believe that everyone can benefit from a yoga practice. AND there are SO many benefits to yoga! The practice of yoga reduces stress and promotes strength, endurance and flexibility. YOGA is union; a union of mind, body and spirit. Yoga restores balance and harmony by awakening the natural flow of energy that resides in the body. At The Yoga Channel yoga studio in Oxnard at Silver Strand Beach, we offer a variety of classes taught by some of the finest teachers in Ventura County. Yoga, meaning “to yoke” — the practice of uniting the body, mind, and spirit, creating harmony within ourselves and in the world around us.

Through this union, we cultivate inner peace and strength, allowing us to be fully present and compassionate.
