Happy May Day 🌺✨

In Hawai‘i, May Day is known as Lei Day, a beautiful celebration of culture, connection, and the spirit of aloha.

We were honored to have our Marketing Coordinator, Teiliana, a proud Native Hawaiian originally from Hawai’i, share her culture with our community. Residents learned the meaning behind Lei Day, how it began, and were introduced to the rich history of Hawai‘i. They also got to learn some hula, bringing movement and joy to the celebration.

The experience was brought to life with delicious local favorites like haupia pie, li hing pineapple, and spam musubi, giving everyone a true taste of the islands.

Most importantly, residents learned how to carry the Aloha Spirit into everyday life and what it means to Live Aloha and Live Pono, to live with love, respect, and righteousness.

Mahalo to Teiliana for creating such a meaningful and memorable day for our community 💛

A big thank you to Dr. Kalani and Kaleo from Kalani Total Health Center for hosting a Lunch & Learn with our residents focused on managing inflammation and supporting overall wellness. The session highlighted the importance of prioritizing health at every stage of life and encouraged our residents to stay active and informed about their well-being.

One of our residents also had the opportunity to try StemWave therapy for a prior injury and experienced improved range of motion afterward. Dr. Kalani shared additional insight into the benefits of chiropractic care, massage therapy, and IV therapy services offered through their practice.

We truly value our partnership with Kalani Total Health Center and appreciate knowing our residents are in such capable, caring hands. If you’re seeking a trusted wellness provider for these types of services, they are an excellent resource to connect with.

Sunny skies, fresh air, and sweet moments together ☀️🧺

Our residents celebrated National Picnic Day in the best way possible. Our Assisted Living residents enjoyed a beautiful outing at a local park, while our Traditions residents shared a lovely courtyard picnic surrounded by family. It was the perfect day filled with laughter, connection, and the simple joy of being together 💛

Today we celebrated with a hands-on day in the garden 🌱 Our residents learned how to grow seedlings, getting their hands in the soil and connecting with nature.

We wrapped up the day by refreshing our garden with beautiful flowers generously donated by TraderJoes, along with veggie plants donated from Green Thumb Nursery - Ventura. We’re so grateful for the support that helped make this day so special and full of growth—literally and figuratively! 🌼🥕

Moments like these bring joy, purpose, and a little extra sunshine to our community 💚

Today we had the joy of celebrating in a truly meaningful way 💛

Our staff and residents came together to create handmade cards filled with kindness, encouragement, and creativity for the kindergarten classes at Rio Del Sol Elementary. Each card was made with love, with the hope of bringing smiles and a little extra sunshine to these young students.

Moments like these remind us how powerful simple acts of kindness can be, connecting generations and spreading joy throughout our community ✨

What an incredible turnout at our Sip & Stroll event at Oakmont of Riverpark! We are so grateful to everyone who joined us and helped make the day such a success ✨

A huge thank you to all of our amazing vendors who came out and showcased their businesses. From delicious food to beautiful crafts, homemade goods, and incredible wellness and senior care services, there was truly something for everyone to enjoy 💛

We’d like to give a special shoutout to Dr. Kalani and his team at Kalani Total Health Center for co-hosting this wonderful event with us. Your partnership helped make the day even more meaningful.

Thank you as well to our generous raffle donors, including Full Care Hospice for the 55” TV and Buena Vista Home Health and Hospice for the relaxing spa basket and gift certificate. Your contributions made a big impact!

Our Easter Family Brunch was a wonderful success! 🌷🐰 From the delicious food and outstanding service provided by our amazing Culinary Team to a surprise visit from the Easter Bunny, it was such a joy to celebrate with our residents and their loved ones. We are so grateful for the opportunity to create special memories together! 💛

This afternoon, our residents enjoyed a sunny outing at Arroyo Verde Park in Ventura, filled with fresh air, laughter, and great company. From lively conversations to music and games, it was a wonderful afternoon full of joy and nostalgia.
