Oyster Bay Yoga

Oyster Bay Yoga We’re here to make you feel at home in our yoga studio. Welcome to our studio, and welcome om. We’re here to make you feel at home in a yoga studio. Feel healthy.

If you've ever felt that:

"I'm too embarrassed to try yoga," or
"I'm not flexible enough," or
“It's not for me,”

We hope you’ll reconsider. In fact, Oyster Bay Yoga was created with the sole purpose of helping folks like you reap the rewards of a regular yoga practice and become the happiest, healthiest, fittest version of yourself. Because when we choose to take care of ourselves, everyone around us benefits too. How can yoga help me achieve all that? Yoga is a union of body, breath, and mind, and our studio is a place to take care of all three. You’ll practice yoga, pilates, or meditation in a class that suits your individual goals. You'll learn something new from our amazing instructors, you'll connect with other like-minded students, and you'll carve out a little “me-time," too. You'll leave the studio feeling better than when you came. More balanced (physically, and mentally), and less stressed. Feel proud of yourself. Feel connected. Still feeling hesitant? We’d love to have you come for one of our “Welcome Sessions," where you’ll be introduced to an instructor who can familiarize you with our studio, and the tools that we use in our classes, answer any questions that you have, and help you choose a class and an instructor that will best suit your personal goals. You can make your welcome session appointment right here:

In addition to our full class schedule of yoga, Pilates, and meditation classes, we are pleased to offer health and wellness coaching, massage and reiki services, as well as corporate wellness packages. (All of which our OB Yoga members can take advantage of at special rates). Check out our complete list of offerings on the website. We hope to see you in the studio soon. Team Oyster Bay Yoga

Join us Sunday, January 25th from 6:30–8:30pm with Peggy Adair for Yoga Book Club! This soulful evening will consist of movement, connection, and conversation as we explore The Book Club for Troublesome Women by Marie Bostwick. This inspiring novel celebrates resilience, friendship, and the courage to create change, perfect themes to reflect on together.

We’ll begin with a grounding, all-levels yoga flow to open the body and quiet the mind, then settle in for a warm, welcoming book discussion. You don’t need to have finished the book, just come curious and ready to share.

Don't forget to BYO snacks & drinks and your yoga mat! Come for the yoga, stay for the conversation, and leave feeling connected.

Our new Intentional Listening Circle is a gentle space to be present and connect through shared stories. Listening is an act of compassion, and when we listen with the "ears" of our heart, something powerful happens: we remember we’re not alone.

This circle meets tomorrow, Sunday, January 11th from 6:30-8:00pm with Kaitlyn Pawlukojc. This is a judgement-free zone, so bring what you have. Ask for what you need. Your voice and your listening both matter here.

All are welcome. We’d love to hold space with you. ✨

Viparita Virabhadrasana, or Peaceful Warrior, is a strong yet fluid standing posture that blends power with ease. This pose builds strength in the legs, opens the hips and side body, and encourages a sense of calm focus even while you’re working hard. Peaceful Warrior reminds us that we can meet challenge with softness — staying grounded and steady while allowing space for breath and grace.

To practice: Begin in Warrior II with your right knee bent and left leg extended long behind you. Keep your front knee stacked over your ankle and ground down through both feet. On an inhale, lift your right arm up and gently reach back as your left hand rests lightly on your back leg. Lengthen through both sides of the waist, keep your chest open, and let your gaze follow your top hand. Breathe deeply into the side body for 5–8 breaths, then return to Warrior II and switch sides.

Peaceful Warrior is a beautiful reminder that steadiness and ease can coexist, on and off the mat.

New Monthly Offering at Oyster Bay Yoga: Intentional Listening Circle happening next Sunday, January 11th from 6:30–8:00pm with Kaitlyn Pawlukojc!

“I will ask you questions, I will try to understand, and if you give me your story, I will hold it in my hands…” — Ani DiFranco

Listening is a powerful act of compassion for ourselves and for each other. In this monthly circle, we’ll practice deep listening, pause, become present, and connect in meaningful ways. Share your story, hear others, and weave your thread into our community tapestry.

Bring your experiences, your questions, your heart; all are welcome. 🌿

With the busyness of the holidays behind us, a new year brings a welcome sense of peace. It’s the perfect time to reconnect with our priorities and gently refocus on what we’d like to cultivate as we move into 2026. With this in mind, let us not forget what yoga teaches us every day. On the mat, that may look like listening to your body, letting go of comparison, or choosing rest when you need it. Off the mat, it shows up in the way we speak, act, and care for one another.

May this year be less about rushing forward and more about moving through life with a deep sense of inner peace.
