In fact, Oyster Bay Yoga was created with the sole purpose of helping folks like you reap the rewards of a regular yoga practice and become the happiest, healthiest, fittest version of yourself. Because when we choose to take care of ourselves, everyone around us benefits too. How can yoga help me achieve all that? Yoga is a union of body, breath, and mind, and our studio is a place to take care of all three. You’ll practice yoga, pilates, or meditation in a class that suits your individual goals. You'll learn something new from our amazing instructors, you'll connect with other like-minded students, and you'll carve out a little “me-time," too. You'll leave the studio feeling better than when you came. More balanced (physically, and mentally), and less stressed. Feel proud of yourself. Feel connected. Still feeling hesitant? We’d love to have you come for one of our “Welcome Sessions," where you’ll be introduced to an instructor who can familiarize you with our studio, and the tools that we use in our classes, answer any questions that you have, and help you choose a class and an instructor that will best suit your personal goals. Join us for two meaningful offerings this Sunday, March 15th at Oyster Bay Yoga ✨

Start your afternoon with Clear the Winter Dust: Twist Focused Flow at 12:30–1:30pm with Diana Singh!

This twist-focused flow is designed to help you shake off the heaviness of winter and welcome the fresh energy of early spring. Through a thoughtful sequence of twisting postures, you’ll stimulate circulation, support detoxification, and clear stagnant energy in both the body and mind. We’ll close with a calming meditation so you leave feeling lighter, clearer, and more grounded.

Then return in the evening for our Intentional Listening Circle at 6:30–8:00pm with Kaitlyn Pawlukojc!

This free community gathering is a space to slow down, share, and practice deep listening with compassion for ourselves and one another. When we speak our stories and listen with the “ears of the heart,” we remember that we’re not alone and that our experiences can help support and guide each other.

This deeply nourishing evening is designed to help you fully unwind. You’ll settle into supportive restorative yoga postures using bolsters, blankets, and blocks while Nancy offers gentle reiki and calming aromatherapy to enhance relaxation and encourage emotional and physical healing.

Tree Pose, or Vrksasana, is a grounding balance posture that invites steadiness, focus, and quiet confidence. Rooting one foot into the earth while the other lifts encourages strength through the standing leg and core, while the heart rises upward. Tree Pose reminds us that stability and growth can exist together. Just like a tree, we stay rooted while continuing to reach toward the light. It’s a beautiful posture for cultivating patience, concentration, and a sense of inner balance.⁠

To practice: Begin standing tall with both feet grounded. Shift your weight into one foot and bring the sole of the opposite foot to your ankle, calf, or inner thigh (avoiding the knee). Press your foot and leg gently into one another for stability. Bring your hands to heart center or reach your arms overhead like branches growing toward the sky. Soften your gaze on a steady point in front of you and take 5–10 slow breaths.⁠

Tree Pose invites us to find balance not by being perfectly still, but by making small adjustments with awareness. It’s a reminder that even when life feels a little wobbly, we can stay rooted and continue to grow. 🌿

Join us for this newly added pop-up class, Open Heart Flow & Restore, happening Sunday, March 29th from 12:30–1:45pm with Sydney Matuszak! ✨

In this special all-levels class, we’ll explore heart-opening movement through a flowing vinyasa practice designed to create space in the chest, shoulders, and upper body while connecting to the heart center emotionally as well. Along the way, Sydney will weave in a few simple pranayama techniques to help bring awareness back to the breath and the present moment.

We’ll close with a deeply relaxing restorative posture so you can fully absorb the benefits of the practice and leave feeling open, grounded, and renewed.

Spots are filling quickly for Diana Singh's Pajama Yoga for Kids: Don’t miss out on this cozy favorite! 🧸✨

Bring your little ones, ages 4-10, tomorrow, Friday, March 6th from 5:30-6:30pm, dressed in their pajamas for a fun and interactive yoga class! We’ll move through gentle stretches, playful games, and calming stories to help them wind down and get ready for a peaceful night’s sleep.
