๐Ÿš‘ Careers on Wheels at the Ozark Agricultural Complex! ๐Ÿš‘

Paramedic Kristy Clark and EMT Cherish Martin represented Ozark EMS today at the Careers on Wheels event.

They talked with students about what itโ€™s like to work in emergency medical services โ€” from responding to 911 calls to providing life-saving care in the field. The kids loved exploring the ambulance and learning how EMS professionals make a difference every single day!

Weโ€™re proud to be part of inspiring the next generation of healthcare heroes.

๐ŸŒž Stay Safe in the Summer Heat! ๐Ÿš‘
As temperatures rise, so does the risk of heat-related illnesses. Ozark EMS is here to remind you: Heat emergencies can happen fast โ€” but theyโ€™re preventable.

๐Ÿ”ฅ Tips to Beat the Heat:
โœ… Stay hydrated โ€” drink plenty of water, even if you donโ€™t feel thirsty.
โœ… Avoid strenuous activities during the hottest part of the day (10 AM - 4 PM).
โœ… Wear lightweight, light-colored, loose-fitting clothes.
โœ… Never leave children or pets in parked vehicles โ€” not even for a minute!
โœ… Check on elderly neighbors and those without air conditioning.

โš ๏ธ Know the signs of heat exhaustion:

Heavy sweating

Weakness or dizziness

Nausea or vomiting

Headache

If symptoms progress to confusion, fainting, or hot, dry skin โ€” call 9-1-1 immediately.

Stay cool, stay safe โ€” and enjoy your summer responsibly! ๐ŸŒŠ
