We’re proud to announce that Vernon Johnson, CEO of Dale Medical Center, has been elected Chair of the Alabama Hospital Association Board of Trustees during our recent Annual Meeting.

With decades of leadership in hospital operations, community service, and Association engagement, Vernon brings a strong voice and steady hand to this role.

Johnson began his healthcare career as a respiratory therapist at Dale Medical Center in 1994 and became CEO in 2003. He has served in numerous leadership positions within AlaHA and throughout his community — always with a focus on advancing care and strengthening Alabama’s healthcare system.
