Hey y’all! Wanted to give you a heads up!!

I wanted to let you know about an upcoming road project that may affect your drive to our The 417 Female / Chasing Wellness Physical Therapy between October 5 - November 4.

MoDOT will be working on the Route CC/J bridge over U.S. 65, and eastbound lanes will be closed for 30 days. Westbound lanes will stay open, but traffic delays are expected in the Ozark area.

* If you have an appointment during this time, please plan a little extra travel time. Detours will be clearly marked, but traffic may be heavier than usual.

We appreciate your patience as these improvements are made in our community, I can’t wait to see you when you arrive !

Chasing Wellness Physical Therapy turned 1 💪🏼 (back in June 🙈) life and business has been FULL hence missing the anniversary all together !! I’m beyond grateful—for every patient, referral, like, and word of encouragement.

NECK PAIN TIPS 💡
1. If you wake up with severe neck pain I would avoid overly stretching

2. Pain free motion even in small ranges in your best friend

3. Disc hydration is key 🔑

4. Don’t trust what you google about your neck pain

5. Chin tuck exercise is not one size fits all and I RARELY if ever prescribe it

If you are looking for a way to manage your back pain, neck pain, headaches or other orthopedic injury while remaining active and you want to do it safely, I am your girl! I would love the opportunity to guide you and keep you moving all while reducing pain and hitting goals!

Chasing Wellness Physical Therapy was literally a dream in a dream where I vowed I wouldn’t go through the motions and provide care you can get anywhere.

❌If you are doing exercises that increase your pain while doing them? Might not be the exercises or maybe it need modification.
❌If you say “it doesn’t hurt but I feel it” again maybe that exercise isn’t tailored to you or could be modified in a way where you can do it “without feeling it”
❌ if you power through exercises because you know you need to but every time you hurt worse after and think “if it hurts I must be doing the right thing and eventually it won’t hurt anymore” I hate to break it to you but that’s probably not the right thing either !

My name is Allie Haas. I’m a wife, a momma and I’m super passionate about healthy living! I’m a physical therapist and specialize in the spine and headaches with emphasis on manual therapy and movement! I can also treat any orthopedic injury and love injury prevention!

I graduated Physical Therapy school from Missouri State University in 2018. I worked in outpatient orthopedics in Kansas City under some incredible mentors and top leaders in the manual therapy world! Being back in Springfield I’m so excited to bring this dream to reality. A cash pay physical therapy practice to provide patient centered care without being hindered by what insurance will cover.

Like anything you can create good habits for a few weeks to months to achieve as desired goal. You can also go to physical therapy for 6 weeks to reach a desired goal but then what? What about a tune up? What about prevention? What about the mind/body connection? What about when something comes up or doesn’t go according to plan?
