My name is Ella, I am 35 years old & I have three children. Before LAATC, I was broken and abused for such a long time that I was stuck in a victim mindset. I struggled with drugs, witchcraft, and self harm. I struggled with connecting with my children and others. I have been in the program for 10 months now and the Lord has truly changed my life. I have never experienced love like this before. I have renewed my mind through God's word. I’m no longer stuck in a victim mindset. I have been filled with the Holy Spirit, which is the only spirit I need to call upon! I am able to connect with my children and others. Jesus has become my best friend. I am thankful for LAATC and all they have done for my children and I. I know I am called to the ministry and I am excited to continue this beautiful journey with the Lord.

Teen challenge changed my life. Ever since I’ve gone home, and started my new life, everything has changed. I have seen the Lord restore me, my family, and my friends. Not only that, but He has shown me new friends, and a new church home. I have had the opportunity to share the Good News with multiple different rehabs centers, and lead women like me to the Lord. I get to watch the Lord restore people’s lives the same way He did mine. I passed my GED, I got my license back, and I am getting married this year to an amazing man of God. The Lord has done exceedingly and abundantly more in my life than I could’ve ever imagined. The Lord used Teen Challenge in my life in a mighty way, and it taught me to trust and rely on the one true God and watch every single promise and word He has spoken, come to life. I am forever grateful for this program and the people it brought into my life.

👉 Adolescent Adult & Teen Challenge programs generally work with teens ages 12-17. Most adult programs work with individuals over the age of 18, and the average age in an adult program is between 25-35. For Adult programs, there is no age cap.
