👍 We were pleased to welcome the senior students from St. Mary School System-Paducah, KY High School to Parkview yesterday! They generously volunteered their time in our courtyard, getting our garden tables ready for spring so our residents can plant flowers and vegetables. 🌱

☘️ They also lent a helping hand with our shamrock arts and crafts project. We are truly grateful for the students' kindness, hard work, and the wonderful service they provided to our residents. Thank you for making a difference in such a meaningful way! 🥰

As people visited our booth, these ladies shared what makes Parkview such a wonderful place to work and took the time to answer questions from students exploring a future in healthcare. 🎉 Congratulations to George Richard, Director of Maintenance, for being our Whatever It Takes Champion for January!

❄️ When one of our patients was going home, a recent storm had dumped snow blocking the entrance into her home. George went to the house and went above and beyond by repairing her ramp and clearing the snow, allowing her to safely get inside her house upon discharge. Our patient's brothers called the discharge planner. They were moved to tears by this gesture. Way to go, George! 💗

Today, National Caregivers Day, we recognize all types of caregivers 🫶: our associates who bring compassion and professionalism to their interactions with our residents; family members who lovingly care for their loved ones; and other professionals in the healthcare industry who take care of those who cannot take care of themselves.

Together, we bring more than just "services." We bring love, comfort, and the dignity every person deserves. ☺️
