Congratulations to Asir Mehan, our Whatever It Takes Champion for October 2025! 🎉

We are thrilled to announce that Asir Mehan has been selected as our Whatever It Takes Champion for the month of October! 😀 He was nominated by a family member, who shared: “My husband was scheduled to move to a private room. Asir made the transition much smoother for him. His calmness and confidence in guiding him to his new bed were truly appreciated. This is not the only time Asir has helped us during our stay; whenever we’ve needed something, he’s been there."

Several co-workers and leaders have also mentioned Asir’s positive attitude and his willingness to always help. He is a very hard worker and always has a smile. Thank you, Asir, for your dedication, kindness, and the steady support you show our residents, families, and team. You truly embody the spirit of “Whatever It Takes.” 👍

Thanksgiving Tea - 2025 🍁
🫖 On Tuesday, we enjoyed a lovely afternoon tea with our residents and their families. Sariah and our Dietary Team prepared delicious finger foods, and everyone had a wonderful time together. Thanks to Activities and all of our associates who participated to make this another successful Thanksgiving celebration.

While everyone will enjoy a traditional feast on Thanksgiving 🦃, the tea was about enjoying the company of our friends and families. Thank you to everyone who came, and to every associate who helped make this a special and enjoyable afternoon. 💗

🎁 This year, we were honored once again to take part in Operation Christmas Child, the annual ministry of Samaritan’s Purse. Churches, organizations, and individuals fill shoe boxes with toys 🧸, socks, school supplies 🖍️, hygiene items 🪥and other small necessities that can bless children around the world.

🎄 We partnered with Reidland Baptist Church, who prepared about 50 boxes. Through our T-shirt sales and Easter dessert auction, we were able to raise $520 to cover the $10 shipping cost for each box. 👍 Thank you, Reidland Baptist Church, for collaborating with with Parkview, and thanks to Friendship Baptist Church on Lone Oak Road who were there to collect our boxes and money. Thank you to everyone who supported this wonderful mission!

Another Rehab Success Story! 🎉

Iris is one of our recent rehab graduates! She came to us needing help with strength and mobility, and our physical and occupational therapy team helped get her back on her feet, as well as taking care of herself independently once more. 😊

💜 We are so happy to announce that we exceeded our team fundraising goal for the Walk to End Alzheimer’s! Our goal was $1,000, and we raised $1,692.36! Thank you to everyone who ordered a shirt(s), and participated in our online auction-both donors and bidders! 🌟 This was a successful year.

🇺🇸 We were so thankful yesterday to have the boys and girls from the Community Christian Academy - Paducah, KY come celebrate Veterans Day with our residents. They sang some wonderful patriotic songs, and they sounded so great! Their special bell choir played and they sang patriotic songs to the ukulele. Thank you, Community Christian Academy, and your staff who did a superb job preparing for this for our dear veterans on their special day!

🫡 All of our veterans were recognized, and our friend Zeke spoke about all about Veterans Day and the importance our military is to maintain our freedom. We had a large turnout of people to celebrate and honor our veterans. Snacks were served, which was an additional delight! 😁

We are hosting a food drive to collect essential items for local families and individuals in need. 🤝 We have a goal to collect 300 items between today, November 10th, and December 22nd.

🚗 Items can be brought to Parkview where we will collect and deliver them. Here are the things we are looking for:

✔️ Canned and boxed food items
✔️ Non-perishable dinner items
✔️ Snacks
✔️ Cereals and grains
✔️ Baby food, formula, diapers and wipes
✔️ Hygiene items of all varieties
✔️ New socks, hats, and gloves
✔️ Coats and jackets (new or very gently used)

We are thankful to everyone who is willing to pitch it to help us achieve or exceed our goal!

🎃 Our Halloween Glow Party was absolutely spook-tacular! Big thanks to our amazing Activities department for putting on a glow-in-the-dark celebration, which was so much fun!

👻 We had a costume contest, tons of games, and great food. The day was a blast from start to finish! A huge shout-out to all the associates who helped make this so memorable. Their costumes were fantastic, and with everyone participating, they made a great experience for our residents. 😁
