Aleshia Griffin, LPN, Health Information Management Director, is our December 2025 Whatever It Takes Champion! πŸŽ‰

🌟 Aleshia consistently goes above and beyond in her role. She manages numerous tasks within our facility and regularly steps up when we are short-staffed. Recently, Aleshia has taken on the additional responsibility of the Care Coordinator position, all while continuing to fulfill her duties as Medical Records Coordinator. She also leads our QAPI meetings, keeping the team focused and ensuring each meeting is thorough and productive.

In addition, Aleshia supports our Primary Care Physicians by organizing their schedules and maintaining their paperwork efficiently. Her dedication, organization, and willingness to take on additional responsibilities make her an invaluable member of our team. Congratulations, Aleshia! πŸ‘

The McKinney family shared their heartfelt gratitude yesterday as Mr. McKinney prepared to head home, taking time to thank our team for the compassionate and attentive care he received. They gave special recognition to Camden, a CNA they lovingly came to call their β€œdaughter,” along with Brittany, RN; Barbara, CNA; Carole, CNA; Darius, CNA; Whitney, RN; Jamie, RN; Deena, CNA; and JoAnn, RN. They also expressed sincere appreciation for our rehabilitation staff, including Shelby, Ben, Jessica, and Candace.

We are incredibly proud of these dedicated associates, and the gratitude shared by the McKinney family means more to us than words can express ❀️

We turned our monthly staff meetings into a festive celebration with a fun Christmas game filled with cheering and excitement πŸŽ…πŸŽ‰ To make sure every associate had an opportunity to attend, we held three meetings in one day. Each meeting featured a giant Saran Wrap prize ball packed with fun surprises 🎁 Everyone passed around the prize ball while trying to unwrap it, wearing mitts until the next person rolled doubles with the dice πŸŽ²πŸ˜‚ The energy was incredible, and everyone was having such a great time.

A special thank you to Brenda, our amazing Staff Development Coordinator, who spent hours wrapping the prize balls and helping make this such a memorable experience for our team πŸ’™πŸ‘ It was so much fun, as you can see in the pictures πŸ“ΈπŸŽ₯

πŸŽ„ What a wonderful way to celebrate the season! We hosted two festive Christmas party evenings for our residents and their families, giving everyone space to relax, visit, and enjoy the night. 🌟

Both evenings featured great live music by Richard Cox, a fun balloon wall for photos and a delicious holiday dinner of turkey, dressing, sweet potatoes, rolls and green beans. πŸ¦ƒ Guests sipped sparkling juice, shared laughs, and ended the evening with a slice of pie of their choice. πŸ₯§These special nights were filled with joy, togetherness, and holiday cheer-and it was clear everyone had a great time! β€οΈπŸ’š

We are pleased to announce Stephanie Cole as our November 2025 Whatever It Takes Champion! πŸŽ‰

Stephanie was nominated by a family member who was very happy with her. ✍️ She wrote, "Stephanie consistently goes above and beyond to show compassion not only to the residents, but the families. In particular, with my aunt, as well as her roommate, she notifies the family daily of any changes to their condition, even the slightest. As my aunt was in her last days, Stephanie came in on her days off to check on her and the family. She hugged my aunt and told her how much she loved her. She was compassionate and warm. I have spent many hours with my aunt and watched as Stephanie has cared for others. She buys them snacks and small items that they may want, particularly if they have no one doing that for them. Stephanie consistently does WHATEVER IT TAKES to make residents and family members comfortable at Parkview." πŸ€—

Thank you, Stephanie, for everything you do for our residents and families. ❀️

πŸ—¨οΈ "You can't get a better physical therapist than the ones at Parkview. They helped me so much." – Deborah F.

Deborah came to us for physical and occupational therapies after a fall. When she started, she was unable to walk, get in and out of bed, or wheel herself in a wheelchair. By the end of her therapy stay, she was walking with supervision and independent in her self-care. πŸ‘
