Four Rivers Behavioral Health's System of Care
Recovery Oriented System of Care is an alliance of local organizations designed to help pregnant and parenting women find resources to start on a road of recovery from a substance use disorder or to maintain early recovery with a goal of keeping mother’s and their children together.
Numerous agencies work together to offer recovery support through out-patient therapy, recovery community centers like Four Rivers Behavioral Health’s Turning Point and sober living homes like Four Rivers Behavioral Health’s Lily House. Further, other agencies like Kentucky Cares, Baptist Health – Paducah, Mercy Health – Lourdes, the Kentucky Department of Community Base Services, Goodwill Opportunity Center of Paducah and others coalesce around the mother to offer pre-natal care, job placement assistance, access to aid from the Commonwealth of Kentucky, and other services to ensure that children and their mothers stay together. For most, case management services also are provided along with additional interventions intended to engage mothers in treatment services.

More about 988
988 is more than just a suicide prevention hotline. Find out more.
After the terrible tornados in northern Tennessee, we want to send our heartfelt wish of support to those who have lost so much.
When tragedies such as this occur, people who experienced the tornado in Mayfield two years ago may find they are especially upset, stressed or anxious. Feeling anxious or stressed is common after a traumatic event. And to have a similar event so close to home can heighten those feelings even more.
Consider trying some stress reduction exercises like box breathing (inhale for 4 seconds, hold for 4 seconds, exhale for 4 seconds, rest for 4 seconds and repeat) or maybe just take a minute to center yourself by watching the video below.
And, when stress reduction efforts aren't enough talking to someone about how you feel often helps.
You might try calling a close friend or our Crisis Line is available 24-hours a day at 800.592.3980 or simply dial 988. We are here to listen if you feel like you need to talk.
Take a few calming breaths. How much better do you feel? #FRBH #WeCanHelp #988 #crisisline
When times are tough in the world around you, it can feel like everything is closing in on you. Whether it is a war that is world’s away or a tragic accident close to home, it is easy to get bogged down in negative thoughts. Take a minute and be mindful of your thoughts. Practice a few moments of gratefulness by recognizing the good things in your life. Go for a walk or maybe call a friend. Don’t let your negative thoughts turn your entire day negative. And, if you find you need a little help, give us call at 270.442.7121. We are happy to help and can usually get you in with a clinician that same day. #frbh #WeCanHelp #Depression #Mindfulness https://4rbh.org/behavioral-health-counseling-services/adult-services/
