"You need more parking." We hear it all the time and we wish we had a way to have a larger lot! However, we have tons of nearby public street parking available! You are more than welcome to park anywhere in the green boxes. Street parking is even allowed right out the front door on Broadway St making some very easy and close spots.

Dr. Mittendorf and the Sparrow team are immensely proud to welcome Jennifer Johnson, APRN to our team starting August 18th! Here's her short introduction for everyone:

"As a Nurse Practitioner with over a decade of experience, I have dedicated my career to providing family-centered care since 2009. I specialize in family medicine and pediatrics, emphasizing the importance of nurturing the health and well-being of patients and their families. I hold a Bachelor of Nursing from Murray State University and a Master of Nursing from the University of Central Arkansas. My clinical expertise includes working in the Neonatal Intensive Care Unit at Arkansas Children's Hospital, which has shaped my compassionate approach to patient care.

Outside of my professional life, I am married to my husband Toby, and together we have two wonderful children, Jhett and Lynlee, who are passionate about competing in Kentucky Junior and High School Rodeo. We live on our family farm in Smithland.

I am excited to begin working alongside Dr. Mittendorf and the amazing staff at Sparrow Family Medicine."

Jennifer Windhorst, CMA
Jennifer brought her knowledge and experience to our team in 2024. She works closely with patients rooming, discharging, and assisting with procedures. She always brings a smile and compassion.

Katlyn Wiley, MA
Like Jennifer, Katlyn spends her time in direct patient care rooming, discharging and assisting. She loves making connections with all of our patients from the tiniest newborns to their great-grandparents. She brings love and compassion to every encounter.
