July 21st marks Zero HIV Stigma Day. A day to raise awareness and take action against some of the biggest barriers in the fight against HIV; stigma, silence, and misinformation.

HIV is not a moral failing. It’s a health condition, and people living with HIV deserve compassion, respect, and equality, not judgment or exclusion. Stigma prevents testing. Stigma prevents necessary conversations. Stigma costs lives. Ending the stigma around HIV puts us one step closer to ending the HIV epidemic.

This season our community garden plot has harvested over 150 servings of vegetables and is continuing to produce! LivWell staff members have put in numerous hours planting, watering and harvesting to help get fresh produce in the hands of our clients. This year we are growing cucumbers, tomatillos, jalapenos, Swiss chard, lettuce and tomatoes!

Clients may pick up produce in the lobby of the main building as well as with food pantry in the support services building, as available.
