Flu season is here. If you are diagnosed with influenza or have symptoms consistent with influenza it is important for you to stay home to help prevent the spread of the infection. You should stay home until you are fever free for at least 24 hours without acetaminophen (Tylenol) or ibuprofen (Motrin, Advil) to help control your fever. The flu vaccine can help to prevent the flu but will not help during the acute illness. We encourage you to get the vaccine while you are well to help keep you well.
