At Lumera Healthcare, we believe that mental wellness includes acknowledging the difficult moments without letting them take up permanent residence.

Hannah Klein’s perspective reminds us that "trusting your light" is a practice. If you're in a "grey" season, know that it is temporary and you don't have to navigate it alone.

Our team is here to help.

Self-care doesn’t need to be a grand gesture.

On those "grey days," your energy might be low, and that is okay! Self-care isn't about being perfect; it's about being kind to yourself.

Don't navigate the "grey" alone.

Lumera Healthcare recognizes every month as Mental Health Awareness Month. Our daily mission is to brighten paths to wellness, making sure no one faces their journey alone.

“Our deepest fear is not that we are inadequate. Our deepest fear is that we are powerful beyond measure. It is our light, not our darkness that most frightens us.”

This idea shows up in my practice by recognizing that many people aren’t held back by weakness, but by uncertainty about their own strength and potential. I help clients feel safe enough to step into that “light,” building confidence in their abilities while gently working through the fears that keep them stuck. The goal is to support them in owning their power and creating meaningful, lasting change in their lives. -LeAnne Garland, LCSW

In our Murray Intensive Outpatient Program (IOP), we spent some time shining a light on "Stinking Thinking". 🧠✨

We kicked things off with a morning reflection to set a peaceful tone, then dove into some honest self-reflection. Our check-in question was a tough but important one: “What excuses have you found yourself making lately?” It wasn’t just about identifying those negative thought patterns—it was about reframing them. Our clients worked hard on cognitive reframing exercises, turning those old excuses into new perspectives. We wrapped up by identifying five things we’re grateful for and setting a goal for the weekend.

We believe everyone has the ability to shine a little brighter by changing the way they talk to themselves.

Whether you're in Paducah, Murray, or Mayfield, we have a space designed for you to shine.

Sometimes the heaviest burdens are the ones we haven't named yet.

If you or your child have been feeling "off", it can be frustrating not to have an answer. Quinn Lambert, LPCC, offers a perspective that changes the way we look at grief:

"Even when my clients don’t present with grief, it’s often underneath: loss of identity, loss of expectations, loss of control. That’s grief, even if it is unnamed. I don’t want to just help my clients get over symptoms, but I want to help them live faithfully even when life is hard."

Our upcoming Exploring my Emotions Grief Group, led by Quinn, isn't just about "getting over" the pain. It’s about giving children the space to name their grief and the tools to live fully within their new reality.

We know that for little ones, big emotions can be hard to put into words. That’s why our "Exploring my Emotions Grief Group" focuses on non-verbal processing through art and activities.

What to Expect:
-We always start with a fun icebreaker or game to get the energy flowing!
-Art Journals: Every child receives an "Exploring My Feelings" journal to document their journey.
-Themed Explorations: Each week, we dive into a new "Exploration Theme". For example, in Exploration 3, we’ll explore the "Feelings for the Day" and discover healthy choices we can make to feel better.
-Creative Expression: From drawing to guided writing, we provide a safe, non-judgmental space to share and heal.
