• Recall Number: 26‑293

Reason for Recall:
The pens included in these children’s handwriting kits contain lead levels in the pen nibs that exceed the federal lead content ban, posing a lead poisoning hazard.

What to Do:
• Stop using the handwriting kits immediately.
• Remove the pens and refills from children.
• Contact The KiddoSpace for free replacement pens and refills (shipping included).
• Consumers will be asked to dispose of the pens and refills according to local/state regulations and send a photo of the disposed items to:

The Western Kentucky Opioid Taskforce is excited to announce its Promotion webinar series! A FREE 3-part webinar series that will bring in experts to promote initiatives for collegiate students, healthy eating habits, and exercise programs to strengthen recovery efforts.

Promotion Webinar Series Part 1 attendees will hear from Whitney Harper, Ph.D., LCSW, CFLE, ADS, Licensed Clinical Social Worker, and an Associate Professor in the Department of Social Work at Western Kentucky University regarding, "WKU Collegiate Recovery Resource Center."

Other webinars in our series include Heather Norman-Burgdolf, Ph.D., Associate Professor and Extension Specialist in the Department of Dietetics and Human Nutrition at the University of Kentucky (04/01) and Eric Chaconas PT, DPT, Ph.D., FAAOMPT, Associate Dean of Physical Therapy at Bellin College Physical Therapy Programs (05/06).
