My yoga studio Maui Yoga Shala in uptown Paia is back open with gratitude yoga, dance and fitness classes for all levels and everybody's body.
Tomorrow I will open the Island Fresh cafe for breakfast, lunch, açaí bowls, smoothies and more.

We’re excited to announce our online virtual classes starting this Monday! Our schedule will be up shortly and you can pre-register for classes. Let’s come together and share our energy and flow once again during our live stream classes on the Zoom app.
We all need yoga more than ever. It is a tool we have to help us stay healthy and strong, mentally and physically; grounding us; keeping us calm; lifting our spirits. Our heart is with our local community and international ohana, and it’s time we come together again (virtually) to move and breathe in the spirit of yoga and the spirit of aloha 💕🌺🌈 See you all again soon! 😘

Dear Maui Yoga Shala Ohana,

We want to acknowledge our awareness of COVID-19 and let you know about our continued efforts to maintain a clean and safe environment to practice together.

First and foremost, Saucha ("cleanliness") is a practice we always take seriously, and has been a top priority throughout our 24+ years of being in business. At this time, we are taking extra precautions to keep us all healthy.

We have cleaned and sanitized all props, including mats, which is something we do regularly
We clean studio floors, toilets, faucets, sinks, all frequently used surfaces repeatedly throughout the day
We have advised teachers not to offer hands on assists at this time
Our class sizes are small and offer plenty of personal room to ensure space from your neighbor

Here are a few things we ask of you:

Please bring your own mat
If using studio props, please bring your own towel to cover props; we have rental towels available for $2 and are washed after every use
We have equipped each studio with multiple spray bottles of disinfectant solution, please use on your mat and props after every class
Please join our effort and stay vigilant about your own personal cleanliness and sanitation
Most importantly, please stay home if you feel unwell or have any symptoms (even minor)

We take your health and ours very seriously and continue to provide a safe and healthy place to practice. Yoga is something we need now more than ever. We look forward to seeing you in class with us, and together we will take care of one another and our studio space. If anything changes, we will be in communication with you and take all necessary steps to ensure the safety of our ohana.
