Fun times at convention

Stop don't freak out it's not real.

Several years ago we bought a dozen of these plastic water bugs to surprise and trick our kids. We have had many laughs with them. But today only one carries on this laughter.

This plastic water bug lives in my husband and our bedroom. He is moved to different places by us,, to try and get a shock, scream or laugh from the other person.

I recently put him in the shower. It worked. My husband put him on my pillow. When I saw it I thought, if it's real and I grab it I will scream when it moves, so I decided to flick it aside. By husband laughed so hard.

Today I was surprised by the plastic water bug in my sink. I have relocated him to surprise my husband when he goes to clean his teeth.

This one drives me crazy!!! But here’s the TRUTH:

An essential oil is a highly concentrated, aromatic compound distilled from a plant. Because of this, essential oils are quite potent. Pets have millions more olfactory receptors than humans do, which does make them sensitive to strong smells, but they are certainly not toxic or unsafe. The truth is, diffusing around pets is an excellent way to benefit them on a regular basis. It is best to use a water-based diffuser (such as the Lumo® Diffuser) on an intermittent setting. Allow your pet the option to exit the room by leaving the door open and only use three to four drops of oil at a time in the diffuser. It can HELP them! In fact, diffusing Lavender has been shown in shelters to provide calming effects for pets.

Tall glass with ice
1 tablespoon of apple cider vinegar
Sq**rt of stevia
1 or 2 drops doterra ginger oil
Fill glass with sparkling water
Stir and enjoy

I have been lazy about putting the diffuser on. Today I put wild orange and peppermint.

I soon felt compelled to clean and wipe off the kitchen counter. After that I picked up and vacuumed the house.

I need to remember how helpful these two are and do this more often.

We started a new diffuser blend at night. 6 drops Serenity and 2 drops Peace in a 8 hour diffuser.

This blend helps us calm down and turn off the brain so we can rest.

My young lady came home doubled over in pain. We use essential oils for any and all things first before resorting to medicine. She tried Clary Calm but it didnt do the trick this time. So she tried Deep Blue and then a combo of lemongrass/copiaba. After about 10 minutes she was walking tall. Oils for the win.

I cried quietly in my bed on Sunday. I was in the middle of having to hold my 10 year old tightly, putting pressure on his body. I was having to ignore the mean things he was saying, ignore his pinching. Anyone that has met our boy knows that he is big! Well on his way to being taller than his parents, so holding him is no easy feat!

My head was swimming...thoughts ranging from regret at letting him eat so much Easter candy to just trying to love him through this moment. I knew his outburst would only last about 15 minutes, but in the moment this sucked.

The last few days I have had a scratchy, hurts to swallow, sore throat. I know it is due to allergies. As much as I dont like the smell of this oil, I have put melaleuca on my throat and it takes away the pain and irritation. I would love to send you a sample so you can experience relief also.

I love springtime, the cool air, thunder storms, and wild flowers. But with beauty comes the fire ants. Yep, I was bit already. I came inside, with my hand burning and itching I grabbed the lavender oil. I put one drop in the palm of my hand with a couple drops of coconut oil and rubbed it around like it was lotion. All pain and itching went away. I only got 1 blister, on my pinky finger, probably missed that spot.
