According to traditional Chinese medicine, ear seeds are tiny pellets of natural or synthetic material, such as the Vaccaria seed, that are applied to pressure points on the ear to stimulate the body's nervous system and promote a therapeutic response elsewhere. This practice is called auriculotherapy or ear acupressure, and it is used for conditions like anxiety, pain, insomnia, and stress.
How they work
Pressure points: The ear is considered a microsystem of the entire body. Specific points on the ear are linked to different parts of the body.
Stimulation: Ear seeds stimulate these points, triggering the nervous system.
Benefits: This stimulation is thought to alleviate blockages in energy flow and help manage various conditions.
