Dear Valued Patients,

We would like to inform you that, as of July 25, 2025, Dr. Robert Gerowitz has concluded his time at EyeCare of Palatine. We are dedicated to ensuring a seamless transition for your ongoing eye care needs, and your eye health remains our top priority.

Dr. Leon Kubicki will still be available at the practice for patients to continue their care. He offers advanced services including Comprehensive Eye Exams, Myopia Management with Euclid Certification, Cataract Surgery Co-Management, Dry Eye Disease, and the diagnosis and management of Anterior Segment Disease. His areas of expertise include specialty contact lens fitting and design, including orthokeratology (multiple design certifications), scleral lens design, and gas permeable lenses (standard and specialty designs).

Dr. Kubicki earned his Doctor of Optometry from the Illinois College of Optometry, graduating Cum Laude, and his Bachelor of Science from the University of Illinois at Urbana-Champaign. During his studies, he served as president of the Private Practice Society, volunteered extensively in student outreach programs, and was inducted into both the Beta Sigma Kappa Optometric Honor Fraternity and the Tomb and Key Honor Society. He has also served as a proctor for the National Board of Examiners in Optometry.
