Today, our team carried that mission beyond our walls, volunteering at Feed My Starving Children to pack meals that will help feed children around the world.

The same compassion we bring to our residents is the compassion we share with our community. We’re so proud of this team for living our mission in every setting: People Taking Care of People.

Patricia (Patty) Bero has dedicated 17 years as director of Human Resources.
Throughout her time at ALIYA of Palatine, Patty has built strong relationships with staff, residents, and their families, creating an environment where everyone feels comfortable. Her motivation stems from seeing the happiness of both employees and residents.

Outside of work, she enjoys long walks, reading (especially in her monthly book club), and spending quality time with her five grandchildren and friends.

Patty appreciates the positive atmosphere and open communication she has encountered at ALIYA of Palatine, particularly during the enjoyable Townhall meetings. She values the company's commitment to excellence and teamwork, which she believes are crucial for a successful business.
