With specialties ranging from Digital Mammography and 3D Tomosynthesis to MRI’s, our board certified radiologists and staff work closely with referring physicians to better understand your needs and are committed to delivering a patient-centered imaging experience. Our Palatka office is a full service imaging center accredited by the American College of Radiology in MRI, CT and Mammography. Our specialty focus is on women’s imaging and we provide a separate suite for women to enhance comfort, in a pleasant environment. Putnam Radiology Group & The Women’s Center is a division of Doctors Imaging Group, a physician-owned radiology practice with outpatient imaging centers in Palatka and Gainesville, Florida. Our radiologists are also on the medical staff and provide coverage for North Florida Regional Medical Center and Lake City Medical Center Radiology Departments. Skip the stress, not the screening. Plan to wear a two-piece outfit, schedule your mammogram when your breasts are least tender, and arrive a few minutes early so you can check in and change comfortably.
On the day of your exam, shower as usual but avoid deodorant, powders, lotions, creams, or perfumes on your breasts and underarms, since they can interfere with your images.
