At AWRC, we meet young people where they are. That means we don’t wait for them to come to us — we go directly into our local high schools to walk alongside students in our Earn While You Learn program. Whether someone is navigating early parenthood, facing tough decisions, or just needs encouragement and guidance, we are here to support them with dignity, compassion, and care. 💛

Sometimes life feels like it’s moving at 100mph — appointments, work, kids, schedules, relationships, expectations… all stacked on top of each other. And before we know it, we’re running on autopilot instead of actually living.

So here’s your gentle reminder:
Take. A. Breath.
Not a rushed one… but a slow, steady one that reminds your body it’s allowed to rest.

You don’t have to have everything figured out today.
The world will still be here if you take five minutes to sit in silence.
Your worth is not measured by how productive you are.

Sometimes the most powerful thing you can do is pause.

Drink some water.
Step outside for a moment.
Feel the sun.
Feel yourself again.

And remember — you don’t have to walk through the hard days alone.

🌶️🔥 What a hot success! 🔥🌶️

Our Chili Cookoff was an absolute blast — and it wouldn’t have been possible without our amazing community!

A huge thank you to our County Commissioner Joshua Alexander , APRN Tammy Baxter , Pastor Steve Burkowske and worship pastor Kyle Cravens for taking on the hard (but tasty!) job of sampling every pot of chili. You truly brought the fun and fairness to the table!

We also want to give a big shoutout to everyone who attended, served, and shared their delicious recipes and warm smiles. The flavors were incredible, the competition was friendly, and the community spirit was unbeatable. ❤️
