First we would like to thank everyone who donated items this week for hurricane harvey victims. We have had a fun experience today trying to drop off all of the donations. We had first planned to go to Houston, but was later told we were needed more in the Beaumont area. We met up with a lot of great people, first in Lumberton, where we got to talk to people who came all the way from Atlanta to volunteer and we got to help unload donations at a church. Next, we went to Port Arthur where we met a group of people who had the most caring hearts! These people were truly awesome! They were from Baton Rouge, La, and we're excited to help in Texas because when they were flooded, last year, Texans came to help them! We came to do anything we could to serve those who have lost everything. Little did we know that we would meet up with these wonderful cajuns who have such big hearts! Big shout out to Courville Construction! We cannot thank y'all enough for all you do to give back! This experience has taught us that no matter your background, your past or the color of your skin, people will always band together and help one another in times of need! We would like to thank God for all the people he placed in our journey and for keeping each and everyone of us safe on our travels.
When you pass through the waters, I will be with you. Isaiah 43:2❤️
