Welcome to Dogwood Trails Assisted Living & Memory Care

We are located just minutes from downtown historical Palestine. We sit away from the highway nestled in a secluded scenic setting, but still conveniently close to the heart of the city. We are also only approximately 2 hours from Houston, Dallas and Shreveport.

Dogwood is an assisted living community that offers a home away from home with a caring staff that that works to accommodate the needs of our residents. We offer several apartment plans to meet the varying needs of each individual. All apartments include; a kitchenette equipped with a small refrigerator and microwave, spacious walk in closets for plenty of storage needs, picturesque view and individual control of their own heating and cooling systems, complete with ceiling fans and additional heat in bathroom for those chilly evenings. Emergency pull cords are located in both the bathrooms and living areas for safety and convenience. We offer multiple levels of care to meet each community members need on an individual basis.

Residents of our community enjoy paid utilities, including WiFi and cable, three covered patios, beautifully manicured grounds, comfortable lounge areas and stimulating physical, mental, spiritual and emotional activities throughout the week. Other amenities include transportation to local physicians, an onsite beauty salon, our own nurses and 24-hour caregivers, 3 onsite restaurant style prepared meals with different options available each meal and a 24 hour juice and snack bar.

Dogwood Trails also encompasses a beautiful memory care unit that offers a unique environment centered around our residents. This entails a secured private wing dedicated to providing 24-hour specialized care for those with late stage dementia needs.
