Dr. Zezon is a Columbia University graduate that studied medicine at the Sackler School of Medicine in Israel and did residency at the Albert Einstein College of Medicine, where she published two papers on the rheumatic manifestations of autoimmune thyroid disease. She completed Geriatric and Rheumatology fellowships at NYU Langone Medical Center. She focused her research on a geriatric cohort with Systemic Lupus Erythematosus.
