🌟 Congratulations to Kory Osborne, Assistant Business Office Manager, for being selected as our March 2026 Whatever It Takes Champion! 👏

Recently, Life Care Center of Palm Bay underwent a complete phone system upgrade, and Kory stepped into action. 📞 Kory was asked to assist the Life Care IT Department since they are remote in Tennessee. Kory climbed ladders, helped set up equipment, tested equipment, and supported her fellow associates throughout this process over nearly 2 weeks. Because of this, Kory received numerous well-deserved nominations from her fellow associates. 😊

When she is not moonlighting as an IT professional, Kory enjoys spending time with her 6 children and attending Elevation Church in Palm Bay. Thank you, Kory, for being willing to give so much of yourself to our facility and those we serve. ❤️

Did you know that about 1.1 million people in the United States are living with Parkinson's disease (PD)? 🌷

🧠 This progressive brain disorder is perhaps most well known for causing tremors, but other symptoms include loss of vocal volume, sleep disruptions, stiffness, and balance issues, among others.

🐰 The Easter Bunny (David Olmos, our Director of Maintenance) was seen hopping around the facility, with his trusty carrot 🥕 (Will Tarbet, our Executive Director) and Easter egg 🥚 (Nicki Olmos, Division Director of Talent Acquisition) in tow! 😂 Kudos to these leaders for taking the time to make our residents smile and laugh!

It looks like someone practicing how to button a shirt again. 👔 Rebuilding the strength and dexterity to hold a coffee cup. ☕ Rehearsing the motions to prepare a simple meal and learning to use a reacher to safely pick things up without bending 🫳.
