⚠️🚨 As you may have seen🚨⚠️
Regulation changes have just been rolled out by the Florida Department of Health, Medical Ma*****na Use Deparment. We are right now still (and will be all weekend) looking into how this will effect our patients, and whom the state will allow us to input exemptions for (final say will be up to the state, not us, as they have currently explained it).
We are COMMITTED to making sure that no patient needlessly go without their mediations due to government regulation changes.
We are learning what the state is looking for on the request for exception form pertaining to milligrams. The Florida Department of Health, Office of Medical Ma*****na Use, whom oversees the Medical Ma*****na use Registry (MMUR) has final say in this case if they approve the exception for more milligrams once we file it, and it will likely need to meet certain criteria.
When we say the highest level of care, we mean it (no pun intended).
We are learning this info at the same time our patients are. Please be vocal to the Medical Ma*****na Use Department if you dislike the limits. We certainly have.

For patients without a Facebook our website will reflect these clarifications as we gain them, but will not be able to update as quickly, nor can it notify you when it happens.

Another way to be heard is to contact your local elected representatives as they have the most power to make changes.
Below you will find a link to look up who your representative is and their contact info.

Some questions we can answer now:
Q❓: “Will I be able to get as much medication?”
A💬: Most patients will notice very little to no change in how much they can buy. Any who do may be eligible for a milligram exception via MMJ Health submitting a Medical Ma*****na use Registry Request for Exception form. We are awaiting more guidance as to what constitutes a need for exception for the state but will be glad to submit them on behalf of a patient who needs it.
Q❓: "How do I request for a Medical Ma*****na use Registry Request for Exception?"
A💬: MMJ Health will happily facilitate input a Medical Ma*****na use Registry Request for mg Exception for patients who need to have an exception. We are still awaiting more guidance from the state as to what does and does not constitute a need for exception.
Q❓: "How much is to get a Medical Ma*****na use Registry Request for mg Exception filed?"
A💬: While we have been made aware that other offices are charging up to $65.00 to file for the exception the first time, currently MMJ Health is not charging anything until we understand the true scope of work to have one of these exceptions filed. While we wish that we could guarantee that we will never charge for this, we are stuck waiting to see how difficult and labor intensive the state created process is. We are doing our best to keep the administrative cost at nothing or as close to nothing as possible to facilitate this for our patients. We as always appreciate your understanding as this continues to develop.
We will do our best to answer questions to the best of our ability in a timely manner, and will update this and other posts on the matter to reflect new information as we can.
We greatly appreciate your patience,
MMJ Health
