Osto Group Osto Group has been serving ostomates around the country since May 2008. Osto Group is a grassroots organization, created by an ostomate for ostomates.

Osto Group is a not-for-profit organization that receives donations of unused ostomy supplies and redistributes them to those in need - usually those without insurance. Osto Group is a not-for-profit organization that receives donations of unused ostomy products from all over the country. It is always our objective and heartfelt commitment to show you respect, devotion, high-quality and expeditious service while continuing to meet your specific personal needs. Three founders, Stephanie Sullivan, herself an ostomate, with the help of her two friends and business partners, Barbara Hymans and Marian Grace, already had an existing non-profit called Wholeness House. With God’s inspiration, they envisioned transforming Osto Group into a non-profit outreach for uninsured ostomates, who could not afford their supplies. The arrangements were soon made and this small version of Osto Group became an affiliate of their non-profit and moved to Florida under new ownership. That was in 2008. Today, 15 plus years later, Osto Group has grown exponentially serving thousands of uninsured or those who have insurance but lack adequate coverate across the country. Now those ostomates who cannot afford their supplies finally have a reliable resource knowing their needs will be met each month at a cost they can easily afford. The one thing that sets Osto Group apart from all other ostomy charities is we feature an automated website where those in need can place their orders right away, no application, no waiting, and expect to receive their order usually within 3 business days. Stephanie's struggle after ostomy surgery is like many others who have endured its difficulty and pain. It’s been said that hurting people hurt people, but it doesn’t always have to be this way. Like Stephanie, hurting people can choose to turn their pain into purpose and not only help themselves but also help others and change many lives for the better even as Osto Group has been doing now for over 15 years. So how do you qualify for Osto Group’s assistance? It is simple. Those who have no insurance qualify. Those who have insurance, but the policy omits ostomy supplies, qualify. Those with a high deductibles can also qualify. Ostomates can order their supplies online by using Osto Group’s automated website: www.ostogroup.org or by calling 561-203-5886. The cost of ordering supplies consists of the price of postage and a small handling fee for each item ordered. The handling fees are used to pay the non-profit’s rent and other operating expenses. Osto Group is 100% volunteer driven so absolutely no salaries are paid. All funds received go right back into the organization to further the valuable work they do. How can you help? With the exception of the handling fees, Osto Group receives no outside funding and welcomes your financial support in any amount. If you would like to partner with them monthly or give a one-time financial gift, there is a donation button on their website or you can mail a check to the address below. All gifts are tax-deductible. Most importantly you can help Osto Group by donating supplies. We encourage individuals, support groups, manufacturers, medical stores, hospices, hospitals, nurses and pharmacies to help by shipping their ostomy supplies to:

It is with sorrow that we regretfully announce the passing of our beloved Executive Director, Stephanie Sullivan. Stephanie, who was an ostomate, along with her 2 other co-founders, began Osto Group in 2008 and was instrumental in its startup and ongoing operations. All, who met her or spoke with her on the telephone, even briefly, loved her. Stephanie will be sorely missed.

It is with sorrow that we regretfully announce the passing of our beloved Executive Director, Stephanie Sullivan. Osto Group has been serving ostomates around the country since its move in May 2008 from California to Florida. Osto Group is a not-for-profit organization that receives donations of unused ostomy products from all over the country. It is always our objective and heartfelt commitment to show you respect, devotion, high-quality and expeditious service while continuing to meet your specific personal needs. Please note our only requirement continues to be that you DO NOT have any form of insurance reimbursement for your ostomy products. In other words, if you have insurance that will cover your ostomy supplies once the deductible is met, you CANNOT order any products from this website. It is Osto Group's mission to provide these limited donated supplies to those with no insurance coverage or reimbursement of any type. We will ask you to verify non-coverage upon entering the program and to re-certify it each time you order from us. We do this to assure that we are serving those who are truly in need and not just those who are looking for savings. We realize that as the economy takes a downward turn all of us might tend to become concerned as to where our provisions will come from month to month. In light of this situation it is human nature to begin to stock up or maybe even feel you need to hoard supplies. Because we are donation based and do not have an over-abundance of any specific stock items, we are asking each of our customers to consider their neighbor and to only order for a maximum of two months trusting that when you have a need it will be here at Osto Group waiting for you. This will be difficult for some, but it is necessary for us so that we can be fair to all. We thank you all in advance for your restraint and know that ALL will be served according to their needs. We want to reassure you that Osto Group will be here for you regardless of what the economy or world situations may appear to be.
